Everything began with an ERAMUS exchange programme abroad. As I chose to join an international mobility programme abroad for one year (1 semester in a partner university and 1 semester abroad), I began my year in Örebro in Sweden. As I'd heard so much about the great opportunities in Scandinavia, I wanted to study there in a field where the Swedish academic system is particularly renowned, namely marketing and design.
Spending a year abroad in an ERASMUS programme is really an unforgettable experience for a student. It is an opportunity that everyone should try to have and that you should really make the most of in every way possible. It's just so rewarding and you learn so much when you're studying with 125 people from 47 countries around the world.
Choosing an international programme also enabled me to see how well I was able to adapt to a foreign culture. This was also true during the work placement that I did in Milan.
All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and immeasurably enriching. I wouldn't have missed this year for anything and I recommend it to everyone!
